We work with global businesses, challenger brands and start-ups to research, develop and launch innovative food and beverage projects across every category imaginable; snacking, plant-based alternatives, ready meals, confectionary, baby food, non-alcoholic beverages, sauces, desserts, bakery, alcoholic beverages, supplements and many more.

We are currently a team of eleven, made up of chefs, product developers, marketeers, project managers, food consultants and business administrators. Based in Fulham, West London, our offices are fully equipped with a development kitchen, photography workspace and open plan desk space. We have seen rapid growth over the past 3 years and have exciting plans for the future.


Now in our next phase of expansion, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to handle all new business enquiries whilst growing our agency through new business opportunities.


The Ideal Candidate 

  • Ideally 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.

  • A good understanding of the NPD process for food and beverage brands.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Proactive and driven

  • Great relationship builder and excellent communicator

  • Highly organised

  • A real passion for food 

  • Innovative and creative 

  • Eager to learn new categories and skills 

  • Food trend awareness 

  • A genuine interest in contributing to the growth of the business

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google  


The Role 


This will be a key and challenging role within Tastehead, but very rewarding. As a driven Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in growing the agency through the acquisition of new clients and projects. You will be involved in the whole new business cycle from lead generation, completing project proposals, pitches to negotiating, closing and onboarding new clients.

  • Source and develop sales leads to prospects

  • Develop and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities through lead generation

  • Achieve and exceed new business revenue targets

  • Establish and nurture successful relationships with prospective clients

  • Manage the delivery of proposals, pitch decks, and any other new business collateral for new business opportunities

  • Negotiate and close new business deals

  • Work strategically to understand a brand’s goals

  • Manage CRM workstreams
